Why Choose Clarks Labrador Ranch?
The answer is easy! We do all the required testing and more to ensure the healthiest puppies available!
We have gone out of our way to find and breed some of the best genetics in the breed and we are always looking at what we can do to improve the Labrador Retriever Line.
First Class Care
All of our dogs have been examined and passed preliminaries (younger than 2 years of age) or finals (2 years of age and older dogs) radiographic hip and elbow screenings. This is to ensure your dogs will not be predisposed to hip and elbow dysplasia.
Research
We use Embark Labs to DNA profile all our dogs long before they are even old enough to breed. This ensures us we will know the dog is suitable for breeding and will not carry genetics that can cause such things as EIC ( Exercise Induced Collapse), PRA (progressive Retinal Atrophy), CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy), PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease), and that our puppies are D Locus Gene free (Dilute Gene).
Vaccines
We follow a very strict regiment of vaccinating and deworming our puppies that is approved by the state of Missouri for licensing. We go above that requirement by starting early with first Parvo vaccine at four weeks and repeating at five weeks to prevent any chance of your puppy getting Parvo. Parvo is a life threatening disease that puppies can easily fall victim to.
